WebThat's a good question though but I think its referenced in the rules somewhere with a ranged example. As long as one enemy is in range then the whole pattern will hit. I figure it will be the same with the flamethrower and since the range is 0 (ie adjacent) there must be an enemy next to you for the whole attack to work.
