WebUnder the supervision of the Supervising Groundskeeper II of the Northern California Veterans Cemetery the incumbent performs duties associated with the operation and maintenance of the State Veterans Cemetery. These efforts are intended to assure honorable and dignified burials of eligible decedents in a consecrated sanctuary. WebTypical duties of a cemetery groundskeeper may include mowing lawns, weeding, cutting back shrubs, removing debris, and watering plants. In addition to maintaining the grounds, the groundskeeper may also perform maintenance on equipment such as the septic system, lighting, and irrigation systems.
